Oct 2008 - Thanksgiving on Horseback - every year a bunch of horsemen gather together in Merritt to enjoy Thanksgiving.

July 2008- Kamloops Chapter of Back Country Horsemen BC just completed 10 Corrals at the campsite at Leighton Lake next to Tunkwa Lake in Kamloops ,Merritt area not far from Logan Lake. Below is a picture of the new corrals. Click on picture below for more info on this campsite.
