Equestrian Staging Facilities- Several provincial parks and recreation areas provide equestrian facilities and allow horses on-site. Equestrian staging areas usually provide loading/unloading ramps and hitching rails, and some also provide corrals, vault toilets, bear-proof garbage containers, picnic tables, water wells, fire rings and firewood. Some recreation areas, though not formally designated for equestrian use, have horseback riding opportunities in the vicinity. Specialized equestrian facilities are not provided at these sites, because they are intended primarily for auto-access camping. Unlike equestrian staging areas, horses are not permitted on-site.
