Barrier, British Columbia , Canada

There are 6 camping spots, 6 corrals and two large turn out pens. There is a rock BBQ available, a shelter, outhouses, fire rings and a shower house that will require you to take your own water source. The creek runs right beside the campsite for watering horses.

The trails are open in April and will usually remain open until the end of October. There is no charge for the campsite

Travel Directions:

From Kamloops Highway 5 North:
take the Halston Bridge crossing to Westsyde Road.
Follow Westsyde Road to the McLure Ferry (approx 40 km) (Paved road). From the McLure Ferry continue on the Westsyde Road to km 12.5 on the dirt road. You will cross FishTrap Creek and the campsite is on your right in plain view of the road.

From Barriere:
Go through Barriere and cross the bridge over the North Thompson River. immediately after the bridge turn left onto Westsyde Road. Follow Westsyde Road to km 12.5 and you will see the campsite on the left.
