Merritt, Kamloops area B.C.

Duffy Lake, - Kamloops area- It is 13 km. up the Greenstone Road going south by Cherry Creek, between Kamloops and Savona. Veer right at the first junction and turn right at 12 km. and follow the signs to Duffy Lake. It is at 3800 meters,
Lundbom Lake- Merritt area- This is a BC Forestry site. Great campsites with corrals for horses and trees to high line if it gets
busy. This is one of my favor spots. Grasslands just up the highway pass Merritt on the Kelowna Connector.
Rainbow Trails
- Merritt area-Just 26 miles past the Toll Both before Merritt take the Cold stream turn off.
The trails are well marked but bring your GPS anyway. The campsite was built by
the Endurance riders of BC and Backcountry horsemen of BC.
Tunkwa Lake
(Leighton campsite)-
Merritt area-July 20th 2008 UPDATE- Kamloops BCHBC Chapter just finished 10 well built corrals at this campsite....Trails, campsite great fly fishing and riding. Good campsites.
You can ride for miles. ATV trails available too from the Leighton Lake site..
Kane
Valley- Merritt area-The Kane Valley area offers many trails. In the winter
months, the Kane Valley trails serve as XC ski slopes.

Clinton, Cashe Creek 100 Miles B.C.

The Hill's
located just north of 100 Mile House at 108
is a great place thanks to the help of some of our Back Country Horsemen. There
is now a camp site with corrals for your own horses. You can camp here for less
then $20 per night and make use of the fabulous facilities. Pool , Hot tub and
restaurants.
Manning Park-
Take the Manning park turn off just past Hope. This is a great ride to the Pacific Crest Trail head or to the top pike where
you are right on the US boarder. It can get cold at anytime of year so be
prepared. If you plan on camping you have to contact the Park to let them know you plan on
staying the night in the day horse parking lot. The trails are lovely.
Salmon Arm , Southern Interior B,C.
Skimikin Lake - Just before Salmon
Arm. Great camp site miles of trails . Shuswap BCHBC holds an annual Poker ride
in July. It is worth the trip up for. Visit local Wineries on horse back.

The
Hoof and Woof B&B is located on a gorgeous 7 acres just outside Salmon
Arm in Tappen, BC and is only 2 minutes off the number 1 Hwy. We are only
minutes to Shuswap Lake so you can enjoy a range of water activities, golfing,
hiking, horseback riding and so much more! Only 15 minutes to Salmon Arm where
you can shop and take part in annual events like the Roots and Blues festival.
We call ourselves Hoof & Woof because you can bring your dogs and horses
to enjoy an incredible, relaxing stay... even animals like a holiday! Get more
information on animal accommodations

Kelowna
B.C. This location is safe and convenient to park your vehicle and trailer.
